Families with Young Children

This section of the Faith Formation at St. Martin's website is for time crunched, stressed and pressured families with children seeking connections, support and guidance to develop a strong, healthy, value-centered family life where faith can be applied to daily needs.

There are 5 pages to this section which cover a lot of ground in the spiritual life of young families.  A description of these pages follows:

Parenting begins with a fun rap video sung by a mom and dad who seem to have a pretty good grasp of the rewards and frustrations of being parents to young children.  From the parenting page you can move on to the Spirituality of Parenting, the Stages of Faith Development and the importance of Passing on Your Faith.

Prayer gives families some prayers to say together, the importance of modeling prayer for children and a unique way to involve the whole family in prayer.

Family Activities has ideas about how to live out your faith as a family with activities that are fun and rewarding and involve reaching out to others.

Magical Moments not only gives you insight to what a magical moment is, but hooks you up with a blog where you can read about the moments others have experienced or share your own if you so choose.

Rest in the Lord shows you places to wander where you can gain a new perspective on life, your family and work relationships, friendships and God's presence in your life.
